In the recent 2011 competition, Asheveille School placed 25th in the nation.

  • Asheville School Junior Receives Wilderness First Responder Certification

    Asheville School junior Jack Qualey (Hilton Head, SC) completed the Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Course sponsored by the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS and IslandWood located on Bainbridge Island, Washington from December 27 - January 6. Qualey is now certified as a WFR and has the ability to make critical medical and evacuation decisions in remote locations.

  • Asheville School Heavyweight Wins Tournament

    Asheville School Junior Ryan Shiver showed off his wrestling skills in Charlotte this weekend when he won the heavyweight championship at the Holy Angels Invitational wrestling tournament. During the two-day tournament which finished on Saturday, January 7 at Charlotte Cathlotic, Shiver showed why he’s the state’s top-ranked NCISAA heavyweight wrestler.
