Senior Scott Foy Wins Waynesville Main Street Mile

Asheville School Senior Scott Foy (Charlotte, N.C.) won the Waynesville Main Street Mile with a time of 4:22 on August 13, 2010. He competed in the Male 18 & Under category. The Main Street Mile is a benefit race for the Shriner's Hospital for Children in Greenville, SC.
The Ashnoca Wins Seven Awards for Scholastic Journalism Excellence

Students and faculty members at Asheville School are well aware of the high quality news content printed in each issue of the student-run Ashnoca newspaper. This summer, the 81-year-old publication received seven awards for Scholastic Journalism Excellence by the North Carolina Scholastic Media Association (NCSMA) in Chapel Hill.
