For Visiting Reps

We regularly host admission visitors from colleges and universities throughout the U.S. If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact us by phone or email, and we will be happy to make arrangements. A few suggestions:

Scheduling

We encourage representatives to visit on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, when school is in session (see the school's calendar to check our vacation breaks). Tuesday visits are often accommodated, but the school's schedule that day tends to limit or preclude contact time with students.

The Routine

At Asheville School, the school eats together as a community. For the meal, you’ll join one of our faculty members, along with any interested students (we publicize every college visitor). You can share information about your institution while you sample our fare (it’s actually pretty good!) and observe an important facet of our distinctive community life.

We hope you’ll join us for our family-style seated lunch at NEW TIMES: Monday (12:20 pm), Wednesday (12:20 pm), Thursday (12:20 pm), and Friday (12:00 pm). Should you be interested in a Tuesday visit, please contact us to discuss our limited offering on this buffet lunch day. We ask representatives to arrive 15 minutes before lunch begins.

Other Possibilities

Sometimes we make our facilities available to representatives from schools outside the region who wish to host an evening information session for area admission candidates. Please contact us directly to find out more.

Deans, Directors, and Senior Enrollment Officers from schools likely to interest a significant number of Asheville School students may wish to take a student-guided tour, attend a meal or sporting event, sit in on a class, or arrange to meet with senior administrators.
