On Thursday, March 23, Asheville School will host alumni artists Betsey Ambler 1977 and Leslie Keller 1977 for their exhibition, "Two Friends, Two Visions." The opening will be in the Walker Arts Center's Crawford Art Gallery from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Ambler and Keller became friends during their time at Asheville School, and their exhibition seeks to juxtapose their unique artistic visions.
Ambler specializes in small, representational watercolor and acrylic work, while Keller works mainly in abstracts painted in oils on large canvases.
"I am so excited to work with Betsey and Leslie on this exhibit," said John M. Crawford Gallery Curator Casey Arbor. "They are a dynamic duo, and I cannot wait to see how their artwork complements the other."
"Two Friends, Two Visions" will hang in Asheville School's John M. Crawford Art Gallery from March 23 to May 1. The opening is free and open to the public. You can see directions to Asheville School here.
