• Asheville Newspaper Previews Blues Football Season

  The Asheville School Blues football team was recently highlighted by the Asheville Citizen-Times in a front page Sports feature about their upcoming season. The Blues start the regular season this Friday, September 3 at home against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy. Kick off begins at 4:30 p.m. on Arbogast Field. Click here to read the article.   During Asheville School's 2010 Spring Athletic Convocation, the following students were honored and recognized: Frank H. Valier Award in Boys' Track -- Max A. Hartmann 2011
  Outstanding in Girls' Track -- Paige E. Madden 2012
  Outstanding in Boys' Lacrosse -- Evan H. Haire 2011
  Outstanding in Girls' Soccer -- M. Katherine Volatile 2011
  Robert C. Valier Award in Baseball -- Walker Szurek 2011
  Outstanding in Boys' Tennis -- David H. Schaffer 2010

  

• Katie Volatile Named to NCISAA All-State Team

  Fifth former Katie Volatile was named to the NCISAA All-State team in the 3A girls’ soccer division on Saturday, May 15, during the closing of the girls’ soccer state championship at Charlotte Latin.

  

• Track Teams Finish Season at State Championships

  Asheville School’s boys’ and girls’ track teams finished out a strong season this weekend at the NCISAA 3A State Track Championships at Cary Academy, in Cary, NC.

  

• Boys' Tennis Team Has Tough Loss in State Tournament

  The boys' tennis team fought hard on Saturday in the state tournament and played extremely well. They finished with a 5-4 loss to Greensboro Day.
