    Asheville School’s varsity boys’ tennis team is celebrating more than just a winning season -- the Blues were undefeated in conference play season and received the #5 seed in the NCISAA state tournament.

    Congratulations to Asheville School coaches Frank Kriegler and Laura Lawrence on being named Western North Carolina’s Boys’ and Girls’ Coaches of the Year for swimming. Six Asheville School swimmers earned All-WNC honors, and seven received honorable mention. Go Blues!

  • Blues Wrestlers Compete at National Championships

    Conor Fenn, Coach Arbor, Sean Wrinkle

    The Blues’ wrestling team finished fifth in the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) state tournament on February 21. During the finals round, Sean Wrinkle '15 won his weight class and is a State Champion, and Conor Fenn '16 and John Galusha '15 were State Runners-Up.

  • Kriegler Earns A State Championship


    Senior Joey Kriegler returned from Greensboro’s state swim tournament with a first place trophy in hand after winning the 500-yard freestyle. Shaving 11 seconds off his personal record, Kriegler became the first state champion in Blues swimming since 1998.
