Ms. Casey Arbor
, Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University
University of North Carolina Asheville - BFA and North Carolina Standard Professional Level 1 in Art K-12
Art Institute of Boston - MFA in Visual Art
Appointed in 2008
As a former boarding school student, Casey Arbor is deeply inspired to provide others with the opportunity she was so fortunate to have; a passionate and committed high school art teacher.
After graduating from Pomfret School in north eastern Connecticut, Casey amalgamated her love for the natural world and art when she attended college in the Blue Ridge Mountains. While earning her Bachelors of Fine Arts and Teaching License at the University of North Carolina in Asheville, she was apprentice to Spencer Crawford, former art teacher at Asheville School.
She can think of no better place to teach art, share her passion, and foster community than these rugged mountains of the Asheville School campus. She lives on campus with her husband Christopher, daughters McKenzie and Campbell, and dog Pele.
