Parker Signs Athletic Scholarship To Presbyterian College

Asheville School Senior Chelsea Parker signed a contract today to play basketball next fall at Presbyterian College. She will receive a four-year athletic scholarship totaling approximately $160,000—enough to cover the 4-year tuition and pay for some summer programs.

This year’s Boys’ Alumni Basketball Game, taking place November 15 at 2:30, is much more than a simple game between alumni and students. This game is also an important Asheville School event, as it is dedicated to the memory of Justin Straus, son of Steve Straus, class of ’68.
