Asheville Newspaper Previews Blues Football Season

Senior Scott Foy Wins Waynesville Main Street Mile

Asheville School Senior Scott Foy (Charlotte, N.C.) won the Waynesville Main Street Mile with a time of 4:22 on August 13, 2010. He competed in the Male 18 & Under category. The Main Street Mile is a benefit race for the Shriner's Hospital for Children in Greenville, SC.

Fifth former Katie Volatile was named to the NCISAA All-State team in the 3A girls’ soccer division on Saturday, May 15, during the closing of the girls’ soccer state championship at Charlotte Latin.
