The Asheville School Food Study Group (FSG) has met regularly this term to discuss food issues, with topics including freshness, sustainability, local foods, and organic foods. The FSG is comprised of fourteen community members, representing faculty, staff, parents, Aramark, and the student body.

Student athletes were recognized for their achievements in the Fall Athletic Convocation on Monday, November 11.
Knowing he wants to study applied physics in college, Asheville School senior Joon Young Kang took advantage of a chance to pursue his passion while still in high school. After submitting his test scores and GPA, Kang landed the opportunity to study astrophysics with a professor at Columbia University.
Asheville School’s drama department will present Picasso at the Lapin Agile on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 at 7:15 pm in Graham Theater. The show runs about an hour and a half, and is free and open to the public with limited seating available.
