The Asheville School Chapter of the Cum Laude Society was founded in 1929. During the 2013 Commencement Ceremony, the Chapter honored the seniors who became members during the 2012-2013 academic year.
Asheville School's 55 seniors celebrated Graduation Day on Saturday, May 25 as they received their diplomas on the William Boyd Chapel lawn during the school’s 113th commencement. View photos in galleries Part I and Part II.
Student musicians joined forces with Asheville School humanities teacher and local musician Jeff Mettee in a new afternoon activity: Song Craft. Over the course of the spring semester, they created their own music in a variety of styles.
Asheville School’s 56 seniors have received 198 total acceptances to 113 different colleges, and 19 seniors have received a combined total of $1,482,780 in merit scholarships.
