Asheville School Discontinues Summer Academic Adventures

Unfortunately, Asheville School has decided to discontinue Summer Academic Adventures as of April 2, 2009. There are a number of reasons for this difficult decision. One, expenses are going up, and the difficult economy has affected the ability to cover these expenses. The economy has also affected potential constituents, in that people feel the need to be more frugal with their discretionary spending. Summer programs all over the country are challenged, and when combined with the school's need to prepare the buildings for regular school year, canceling Summer Academic Adventures was our best option.
