Summer Overview

Young people can get a taste of the Asheville School experience through its Summer Academic Adventures program.

Students come to explore new ideas, experience new adventures and challenge themselves to think at a higher level.

Designed for rising 7th- through 11th- graders, the three-week program offers instruction in nearly a dozen subjects through hands-on and experiential learning set in a casual, summer-camp environment.

Students spend their mornings in the classroom, and their afternoons on adventures in the outdoors of Western North Carolina.

They leave with a stronger sense of self and a broader view of others and the world.
