This year, the Mountain Amateur Athletic Club selected Asheville School athletes as finalists for five Western North Carolina Sports Awards. During WNC Sports Awards Banquet, 118 athletes from 28 regional high schools will be recognized as finalists for 22 awards and 15 scholarships.
When Asheville School begins its 119th school year, students, teachers, parents and alumni will gather together this fall to celebrate one giant leap forward for the school's athletic program — a new $3 million multi-purpose athletic field with lights.
After a decisive CAA conference win on February 9, Blues Swimming traveled to the Greensboro Aquatic Center to compete in the NCISAA 3A State Championship Meet on February 19. There, swimmers earned several podium finishes and set three new Asheville School records.
