Starting Friday, May 1, we will resume allowing boarding students and their families to move out of their dorm rooms through a specific, socially distanced focused procedure. Please see the letter with details here.

Governor Cooper announced Thursday (4/23) that the Stay at Home order in North Carolina has been extended through May 8.

On March 27, Governor Cooper announced a statewide Stay at Home order to North Carolina residents until April 29 in another step to to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The executive order takes effect on Monday, March 30 at 5:00 pm.

Buncombe County and the City of Asheville have issued a Stay at Home order for 14 days. This will begin tomorrow, March 26 at 8:00 pm. Faculty will continue to provide online learning during this time. Our campus is closed to all visitors.

Effective March 23, 2020, Asheville School will deliver learning in an online distance learning format through the end of the academic year.
