Have you ever wished you could support Asheville School and improve your financial security at the same time?
Well you can. At Asheville School, we call it Creative Giving. In fact, just one "creative gift" can return an immediate tax deduction to you, plus lifetime income for you and a loved one, plus long-term financial support to Asheville.
That's right… you benefit, your loved ones benefit, and the School benefits. If that isn't creativity, we'd like to know what is. How is this possible? By taking advantage of incentives the IRS provides, we can craft a gift that delivers exactly the benefits to us, and to you, that you have been looking for.
Financial advisors call these creative techniques "planned gifts," because with thoughtful planning, you can turn personal giving challenges into win-win solutions for you and for us. So whether you want to make a gift that costs you nothing during your lifetime, or a gift that gives you guaranteed income for life, this website is where you’ll find out how to make it happen.
About the Wilbert Peck Society
In 1997 Asheville School founded the Wilbert Peck Society to honor those alumni, families and friends who have provided for a legacy gift to the school in their estate planning. Gifts of this nature may take the form of trusts, life insurance, gift annuities or a provision in a will. They are commonly known as planned or deferred gifts, as the school will receive the gift sometime in the future.
Wilbert Peck was a Master Teacher of Mathematics at Asheville School for over 3 decades, from 1921 until his retirement in 1958. He was a major force on the faculty and helped many a young boy begin to understand, enjoy and excel in math.
We hope you will find the information contained in this section interesting and helpful, as well as give you a reason to think about joining the Wilbert Peck Society. It is through planned gifts that people who care can help ensure a bright future for Asheville School—your legacy for future generations.
An Invitation to Join the Wilbert Peck Society
Members of the Wilbert Peck Society have expressed their commitment to Asheville School through a very special and important form of financial support.
These donors have named Asheville as the ultimate beneficiary of a planned gift. Such gifts might include a bequest and/or charitable income gifts, such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable remainder annuity trusts, or gifts of life insurance.
