Financial Aid

Our financial aid program serves to make an excellent education available to students of all socio-economic backgrounds. Roughly one-third of our students receive financial aid.

How to Apply

Asheville School uses Clarity to process financial aid requests for domestic and international students. Clarity makes the process easy and efficient to secure and submit your documents in one place.

Application Deadlines for Financial Aid:

  • December 10 for Early Decision applicants
  • February 1 for Regular Decision applicants

Step 1:

Sign up for Clarity

Step 2:

Use Clarity to begin your application

  • Complete your biographical information
  • Add applying students and indicate which schools your applicant is applying to
  • Sign and submit a Form 4506c to give Clarity permission to pull your family's prior year tax return information
  • Complete your financial information

Step 3:

Provide Supplemental Information

The deadline for submitting supplemental information, including W-2s, 1099s, or other supporting documents to Clarity is February 15.

Merit Scholarships

A limited number of merit-based scholarships are awarded each year to students who have demonstrated exceptional character, academic excellence, and influential contributions to their school community.

No additional forms or supplementary materials are required to be considered for merit scholarships. Applicants selected for an award will be notified with their admission decision.
