College Office

College planning is an exciting time to ponder the incredible opportunities and great fun that await after graduation. Our college office fosters thoughtful, open-minded conversation among students and families as they consider the future beyond Asheville School.

Our Process

No two students are alikeā€”and neither are their prospective college lists. Through group and individual sessions, we will assess your personal interests, discuss career goals, and weigh the importance of factors like location, cost, size, and extracurricular activities. We will listen, guide, and support you. Together, we will identify the college where you not only fit, but will truly thrive.

For Colleges

We can host up to three colleges a day for breakfast meetings (7:45 - 8:25 a.m.) with our students and a counselor. In-person visits will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays on most days in September, October, and early November.

We publicize all college visits via email and school-wide announcements. Students are then asked to sign up in advance so we know how many people to expect.

College Matriculation

We are proud that 100 percent of Asheville School graduates go on to college, where they continue to explore the ways they can make a unique mark.
