Tours & Interviews

The best way to truly learn about Asheville School and to get to know our community is to visit us in person. Nothing can compare to meeting our students, touring campus, experiencing a seated meal in our dining hall, and meeting with members of our community. All it takes for that to happen is to call our Admission Office at 828.254.6345, Ext. 4022 or email for an appointment.

Your visit to our school may be the single-most important reason you choose to apply to Asheville School. We want you to see our beautiful campus and meet our friendly students, teachers and coaches. We want you to have an opportunity to ask them important questions and get a true sense of our school and community.

Your visit to Asheville School usually includes:

  • A student-guided campus tour
  • A classroom visit
  • An all-school gathering (Chapel/Convocation)
  • A possible meeting with the Head of School
  • Your interview with an Admission Officer
  • The opportunity to dine with our entire school community during a family-style seated meal (if a seated meal is scheduled)

Campus tours and interviews are scheduled Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. and Monday through Thursday at 10 a.m. during the summer. Please call if Saturday is the only day you are available to visit.

While visiting Asheville School, you may also have the opportunity to tour historic downtown Asheville, visit the world renowned Biltmore House or hike or bike in our magnificent surrounding mountains. Asheville also has numerous restaurants that are highly regarded, an excellent art scene and great musical offerings. Your trip to the Blue Ridge mountains can be much more than a trip to Asheville School.

We look forward to meeting you in person soon.
