Blues football ushered in a new era when Coach Shawn Bryson became a Blue. Coach Bryson played his high school football at nearby Franklin High School before playing collegiately at the University of Tennessee. While at UT, Coach was named team captain and helped lead the Vols to a 1998 National Championship. Following his college year, Coach Bryson played professionally with the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions. As a coach, Coach Bryson has made stops at Lenoir Rhyne University, Temple University, Florida A&M University, and the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.
