Traveling to the School
Getting to Asheville, NC
The closest airport to our campus is Asheville Regional, and downtown Asheville is just a fifteen minute drive from the campus. The city has many places to stay.
Directions to Campus
The School is located at 360 Asheville School Road, in Asheville, NC, about 15 minutes southwest of downtown and about 25 minutes northwest of the airport. At our main entrance, you will be welcomed at the gatehouse and provided with a campus map.
Take note: GPS may misdirect you to our service entrance, which does not provide access to the campus. From the service entrance, the main entrance to campus is the next driveway to the northeast (0.3 miles) along the main road.
Parking
Parking locations are indicated on the campus map. Please reserve parking locations adjacent to the Chapel for admissions visitors.
Exploring the City of Asheville
Dining
Asheville is referred to as a “Foodtopia” for good reason: there are restaurants to fit every preference and dietary need—check them out here.
Other Things to Do:
While you’re in town, we encourage you to explore the Asheville Area. The Biltmore is our most famous attraction, but the city offers activities ranging from outstanding arts venues to a pinball museum!
Asheville also offers abundant outdoor activities, from hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway and over 200 waterfalls. Tripadvisor, Explore Asheville, and the Asheville Chamber offer great suggestions.
For Admissions Visitors
Admissions visits are by appointment. If you haven’t already scheduled a visit, call 828-254-6345 x4022 or email admissions to make plans.
Mitchell Hall
Admissions visitors should park in the marked spaces adjacent to the Chapel. The Admissions Office is in Mitchell Hall, pictured. (If the Chapel is on your left, Mitchell is the middle building on your right.) Proceed up the steps to the front door of Mitchell; you’ll find a waiting room immediately inside on your left.
