Join the Asheville School Fine Arts Department on Thursday, August 22, for the opening of Asheville artist Jeff Kinzel’s exhibition, “Something to Hide.” The public opening will be in the Walker Arts Center’s John M. Crawford Art Gallery from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Curated by Asheville School Art Teacher Casey Arbor, the John M. Crawford Jr. Art Gallery hosts four exhibits by professional artists and two student exhibits per school year.
The John M. Crawford Jr. 1933 Art Gallery is a memorial to a man who dedicated his life to the arts and who remained devoted to Asheville School. Mr. Crawford was a prominent collector of Chinese calligraphy and painting, and he was a trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
