David writes: "Over the past year I’ve been completing my Executive Master of Professional Studies in Emergency and Disaster Management at Georgetown University. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn from leaders in the field across the world. Our residencies included study in Hawaii of Natural Hazards; France, England, and Belgium studying Terrorism; Geneva studying International Disaster Response; and finally defending my Capstone Project this week in Washington, D.C. I’m working as a Firefighter Paramedic with the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. My wife, Ashleigh and our two daughters Emmaleigh and Elleigh are still residing in Weaver, Alabama but we look forward to seeing where the end of this journey may take us next. I look forward to hopefully seeing my classmates next spring for Alumni Weekend."
