Asheville School Fine Arts Presents the Winter Musical: Colette Collage

Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones bring to life the incomparable French author of "Gigi" and "Cheri" in the musical, "Colette Collage."

Charming, witty, bold and entirely unconventional, this intimate, highly theatrical show captures the essence of one of the most liberated women of all time. Her most pleasant, painful and powerful experiences over the course of sixty-plus years are relived in a striking piece for the stage.

Asheville School Director of Music and Drama John Crawley says this moving play is a must-see. "With a hauntingly beautiful score, 'Colette Collage' is unlike any musical that has graced the stage of Graham Theater," he said. "The story of Colette stands as a testament to one woman's remarkable journey to independence and personal freedom."

Join Asheville School for "Colette Collage" in the Walker Art Center's Graham theater on February 21 and 22 at 7:15 p.m. and on February 23 at 2 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.

All Asheville School families are invited to a reception following the show on Friday, February 22.
