Coach Emily Knapp enters her second season at Asheville School after an illustrious career as both a player and coach. Most recently, Coach Knapp served as an assistant coach at Wesleyan University where she helped guide the team to a NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2018 and a NCAA Final Four in 2019. During her stint at Wesleyan the team set a program record for NESCAC and school wins.

As a player, Coach Knapp played Division One lacrosse at the University of Colorado Boulder where she reached the NCAA tournament and was an eight-time recipient of the scholar athlete award.
